American League Playoff Scenario

let me break it down for you:
Indians, BoSex, and Yankees all have three games left.

Scenario 1: Yankees sweep Boston
- Yankees win the division
- Indians make it as the wildcard if
they win at least one game, else the Red Sox makes it.

Scenario 2: Yankees win two out of three
- Yankess wins the division
- Indians win if they win at least two games.
- If Indians win just one: tiebreaker game between Red Sox and Indians.
- Red Sox makes the wild card if Indains lose all three.

Scenarior 3: Yankees win one out of three
[I got it wrong, I'm sorry.]

Scenario 4: Red Sox sweeps the Yankees.
- Boston wins the division
- Indians make the wild card if they win at least two games.
- Tie breaker between Yankees and Indians if Indians win just one.
- If Indians lose all three, Yankees make the wild card.

Baseball Steroids Policy

"New Steroids Policy Could Happen by Series"
ESPN.com, Associated Press

One by one, Hank Aaron and other members of the Hall of Fame told Congress they back Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig's bid for tougher steroid penalties.

Then, one by one, lawmakers told players' union chief Donald Fehr that he needs to act soon -- a stance punctuated by Sen. John McCain's admonishment, "Don't you get it?"

my two cents:
Steroids have led to unfair competitions, caused teen suicides, and tainted sacred baseball records. Remove it from the game that we love, or it'll eventually cause stadiums to be deserted.
